Problem with cv ... ?

I have gate output on my tb-03 connected to gate input on matrix brute.

I have cv output on tb-03 connected to cv Osc 1 pitch input on matrixbrute.

When I play on the tb-03, the matrixbrute does sound, but it's the same note every time ...

Do you have a voltmeter to test the output of the tb-03?

You can test the MB using itself, patch the VCO 1 Metal out to VCO 1 Pitch in using a cv cable.

With the mod matrix route an LFO to VCO 1 metal and increase the depth, do you hear the pitch change?

So after about an hour of being frustrated, I pulled the CV plug SLIGHTLY out, and now it works ... Should that be the case? Could it be because its a TRS cable, and not TS? Thanks so much for the reply!

You should use TS cables really.

I don't have, otherwise I'd test - do you think that might be the issue causing me to have to pull them out a bit?

can u explain how it works i dont know much about cv gates i would like to have fun with MB to control my avalon bassline or something like that  or use step step sequencer for pattern for avalon
