Use of phase knob on LFO1
« on: March 15, 2017, 09:54:28 pm »
Hi,

What is the phase knob on LFO 1 good for? I understand the theory, but I don't see how to apply musically this parameter. Any hints on how to use the phase knob? Any factory presets where the phase knob is sonically noticeable when tweking it?

Thanks for your help!

For the phase to be controllable you must have the LFO in one of its Retrig modes or in Sync mode. Since it allows you to decide where in the cycle the waveforms start, it has many uses for anything from subtle modulation (e.g. a sound with vibrato starting sharp or flat) to extreme effects (let your imagination run wild).

Hi,

Thanks for your hints. I was most using LFO1 in free mode. I'll try the other modes too.  :D
