Buttons as Mod Destination
« on: May 23, 2017, 10:32:36 pm »
Hey guys,

I'd love see the possibility to modulate buttons, e.g. Hard Sync, Filter modes etc.
I love this feature on my Sub 37. Since the Matrixbrute is digitally controlled it should be possible to integrate, shouldn't it?

Cheers

Mike

I second that! Automated CV switching between LFO waveforms, e.g., would be amazing.

Would be immensely powerful to be able to control the beat division buttons via the matrix.

Modulating the shuffle and rate could be interesting? They are like the buttons in that they are not mod destinations.

I have just opened a new topic with the same request (and the same title as well); I think I have to close it  ::). Anyway, just stopped to second your feature request; yet - considered that no moderator took part to the discussion - I fear it won't be possible to implement it! D :-X

Technically it's not a problem - it was a design decision.

Sure it was, but I was wondering if it would be possible to implement it in the new firmware updates. I've just noticed that - usually - a moderator joins the discussion and confirms that the request was added to their "feature request log" (or something similar). In this case I didn't notice any interest by the moderators and I thought it may be impossible for them to perform this update easily, or simply they are not interested in fulfilling this request. Don't know: I am new to the forum and I am just curious on how the whole update request thing works!  ;D

Even if no moderator commented on the forum, it doesn't mean that the request will fall flat. I contacted support for adding a request for more User programmable Mod destinations. They acknowledge my request with a support number. They wrote to me a second time to say that it was officially entered in the list of updates to evaluate.  I am pretty sure the "buttons as mod destinations" is a highly requested feature as well. They kind of go together isn't it :)

IMHO, just adding these 2 new features would make the MB the most powerful synth available...
