Hello fellow Arturians and perhaps someone from the actual company
In the newest update we now unfortunately have two pages/tabs instead of one, I found the older versions easier to use since it was all on the same page.
On the second page/tab, we have the, unfortunately global, parameters.
These should be able to be controlled by your midi device or another midi controller, so we could choose dedicated buttons/knobs to change things like Swing, Gate and other things in the MCC software quickly on the fly with dedicated knobs for the various options..thus all of a sudden not making it so global and fixed after all
MCC can already receive midi input and gives you a live stream list of what's being tweaked - so it should be pretty easy to program it, so that MCC can have learn or dedicated midi CC's to the "global" and other parameters that are and should be changeable live, when in Sync mode, via controllers, not just via mouse..
Even better would be to have MCC be available as a plugin also, so we could actually change and see these things inside our DAW of choice..
Oh and also it'd be cool if the next updated besides fixing the other issues ppl have already mentioned in the forums, make a skin option for the Beatstep Black Editions, just to make it look more cool and 1-1, I have a black controller, I wanna see a black controller on the screen too
