So if a parameter is modified on the controlled device/plugin either manually or by some automated procedure touching the knobs on the BSP will reflect the actual value instead of the wrong one.

Hi gbravetti,
The problem comes from the device/plugin that does not echo the change. BSP has no possibility to know the change.
That's why (among other reasons) MCU/HUI exists.
