Low Priority - Switches and The Mouse.
« on: August 15, 2016, 08:20:32 am »
Low priority - usability suggestion.

Could the two&three position controls like toggle switches and knobs that only have 2 or 3 choices be made to cycle on mouse clicking, in addition to click/dragging the mouse? They were cycling on V2 and it's a lot quicker/easier on the workflow than just click and drag. In my opinion anyway.

The controls that might be improved:
 'Filter Coupler' Band knob,
 'Env Follower' short/long knob,
 'VC LFO' low/mid/midi toggle,
 'Keyb. Controllers' mono/unison/poly toggle
 'Chorus' type toggle.
 'Trigg Delays'  Trig in knob

If other users have strong objections to this suggestion please respond. I personally find some of the knobs super fiddly and often have to think "how do I move this one again?'

cheers Jeff

I agree those switches could work much better. The zone you have to click in is small. I guess if the hit area was bigger or and/ or if the switches that have 3 positions was added that when you click on for instances Low/ Mid/ High or 1/ 2/ 3 the they switched to the value that was clicked on.

You really need to know where to click and often one is not clicking on the hit area. So all switches hit area could be improoved in some way.
