HI guys, picked up a used Keylab 49.  I've had to replace a broken USB connector and fix a broken key.  Now the device is not recognised by my PC.  Losing patience...

Hope someone can help.

The KL powers on fine, my computer plings but the driver fails to install.  Windows says "No driver found":

I can find the device "Keylab 49" in Device Manager, but it is shown under "Other Devices".

The Midi Control Center software detects that a Keylab 49 is connected to the PC but the sync button and software upgrade button fail to work.

Thanks for any help

cheers

after several hours (no exaggeration) of failure I eventually solved the problem.

The solution was simply to run Windows Update.  It was about a year ago since I did it.  I downloaded from Microsoft their "Convenience rollup update for Windows 7 SP1" and after applying this update the Keylab drivers were found and installed correctly.

Hope this is of some help.
