[Semi Solved] Some gui items do not respond to clicking
« on: May 23, 2016, 09:12:56 am »
Hi
I cannot click to enable HPF or LPF (they should light up green) in the filter sections, both channels I and II
Also, can't select the sine switch below the sin level slider in VCA, both channels.
I cannot click the tri and saw waveform 3 position black rocker switch for channel I and ch II. Both do not move on clicking. Sometimes I can click/drag to make it move.

This is on a few different screen sizes, in standalone mode.
Have read the manual and I should be able to click these.
Any suggestions?

Yes it's absolutely not doing as in the manual.

It seems like you can edit those parameters anyway. They are turned on.  But i guess the switch was for CPU reasons. So wonder why it's gone. Also as it's still to read about this in the new manual.

Especially the waveforms selectors are very annoying. They don't even work the same way if they work at all.

Also when a preset is selected it don't return to 12/12 in the original hardware synths preset selection panel if other buttons in the panel has been selected.
Also sometimes it's like the buttons in this panel don't work as intended.

The GUI is way to fuzzy. The readability is not better than the old one. Thought we got more readable GUI's. I was wrong.
Arturia now we have paid for readable GUI's. Please supply those then.

And as written in the generel CS5 section, then aftertouch etc.. is not working well. For CS80 that's essentiel, as the expression is a trademark.

There's a few things that are just aesthetic, the power button I imagine is one of them.

The only other 2 that I can see do not switch are the 1 and 2 sync buttons attached

They work correctly but you need to click and drag to move them.
We will improve that in next version.

Thanks

Yes please improove that.

Actually on my wave switches then the squares works by clicking and not draging, while the others works when both clicked and draged. Should be the same. A click is prefered.

Also remember to take a look at the original preset panel i write about, and the GUI please.

What about the HPF and LPF switches mentioned at top of thread. Are you saying they need to be click and drag? I've tried that too, nothing seems to work.
Thanks Jeff

Hi All,
New versions of all our plugins are now available in the ArturiaSoftwareCenter.
Those versions should fix your issue.
Best

I think the switches respond better in todays update version 3.0.2. That's fine.
But what can i use it for, if i can't use the applications at all, because vital things like Sustain pedal and aftertouch is not working? Things are described in other threads.

I assume the HPF and LPF switches mentioned by jeffbart don't need to function anymore. If they should hey need to be fixed. Else correct the manual please.

The original issue was the HPF, LPF, SIN and the ring mod 'M' switches do not work. Any switch in V2 marked as >M< no longer works.
So, '[SOLVED]' is not quite accurate.

I would hope the HPF, LPF, Sin, etc green switches bug gets fixed - those do need to function - otherwise most of our precious V2 User presets will get messed up when they get converted. They all have parameter values + switch settings that enabled or disabled the  parameter values.

Also, at the moment i means I cannot turn HPF or LPF on or off, as you could in V2.

Cheers Jeff
