Clearing Projects/Patters

I have tried again and again and again - yep, stuck in a loop. I hold down the SHIFT Key + the 1 (Clear Ptn) all the notes vanish - yippee, but that is premature jubilation, I use the > key to move to Pattern 2 then <  to go back to Pattern 1, the one I have just cleared, and hey ho, it's still there. Am I missing something.

WHy don't Arturia make tutorials for their products, all we have is press this, press that, do this, do that, why not something that steps us through making a 'tune' and going through those fundamental options eg, start from Year Zero and clear the decks?

After you clear the notes save the sequence. That way you are saving the new empty sequence. When you clear the notes it doesn't automatically save so when you bounce back to it it is loading the sequence that you did save.
