Question about Spark Modular envelope
« on: November 02, 2015, 01:06:55 pm »
Dear Spark community forum,

I'm trying out Spark's Modular section and I love it so far. However I would like to connect a separate envelope module per oscillator, so I can create a more dynamic drum sound. I'm not sure how that works. The envelope module that is there by default, works on the total of sound. When I connect another envelop module to an oscillator, it doesn't have an effect. What can I do ?

Thanks in advance

I'm not sure what you expect from using multiple envelopes on the same audio source. An envelope describes the volume of the audio after it has been triggered to the end (when the release finally reaches - infinity dB).

You can try either using a second envelope on another OSC or try modulating the parameters of the envelope by the velocity or other MIDI CCs.
