LFO Pitch Knob Issue
« on: March 25, 2016, 09:43:05 pm »
Hi,

I have noticed that when the mod wheel is set to control the lfo amount, and the mod wheel is set to zero (i.e. off) when the lfo pitch knob is turned to either negative or positive value the pitch is affected by up to a semitone. This behaviour does not improve when the synth has warmed up.

I note this issue was raised in this post http://forum.arturia.com/index.php?topic=10402.0

Is this behaviour normal? I have raised a ticket with arturia and they said take it back to the store for a warranty repair/replace.

Just wanted to know whether this is simply a design quirk or a specific issue with my synth.

Thanks. That was my inkling. Why then does arturia say get it repaired?

Investigating further all lfo knobs (pwm filter amp) adjust their target ever so slightly when turned clockwise / anticlockwise with the lfo amp set to mod wheel and the mod wheel off. The pitch is more obvious.

I wonder if this is a calibration issue that is easily fixed?
