From direct x driver to Asioforall in Live then no sound
« on: January 14, 2016, 08:36:59 pm »
I'm new to ableton and wan't to have the perfect set up before I go more in dept. I'm trying to follow the Sadowickproduction tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mO7PN5GPhnA  I switched to asio driver and then no more sound. I tried couple things,
shut chrome with youtube, checked if the directx was on in the preferences, restarted live, went in hardware setup which was my ua-25 ex driver settings and there s not much there. I want that asio small latency on my microbrute and sound would be nice.
Thanks in advance for the feedback!

I've red that a way to get sound was to delete asio driver and reinstall it. I spent a while trying to desinstall the driver and the only way I found was in the registry file.. I was kinda scared to delete the asio folder but I'm impatient to get averything set up so I did delete it. I reinstalled it, desinstalled my ua-25 ex soundcard tried to reinstall it and now something is corrupted in my soundcard driver and I feel dumb deleting the asio driver in the registry.
PLZ HELP!
