record midi from spark le in to Bitwig studio

Hi

I have "send midi from sequencer and pads set to ON
in the spark software, but although the drums sound
no midi date is recorded

but if I use my BSP  ( beat step pro )  to play the spark software
then midi is recorded perfectly

am I missing something in the spark settings ?

or what else can I try
