Bug
« on: December 29, 2015, 08:13:32 am »
In this example, I copied Seq 2 to Seq 1 (both 1 bar only), saved both. Shifting pattern on Seq 2 works fine, alternate, different note lengths, blah blah.

The bug is on Seq 1. Try shifting pattern backwards, forwards, sideways, whatever. It will revert back to its normal state (1/16, forwards) after 1 bar is complete, even though it's not supposed to.

In other words, if you shift note length, change it's direction, etc, on, say, step 4 (1 bar pattern in this example), when it starts over at step 1, it reverts back to playing forwards at 1/16, even thought you didn't change it back to that state.

Maybe this has been mentioned but frankly I'm too lazy to search.

I reckon you would have mentioned it if it was, but the patterns weren't chained were they?  When a chain is played, all the patterns revert to their saved state each pattern change and repetition.

Hmmm, might have to see it it happens to me too.  I use non-4/4 patterns a lot and haven't noticed the de-sync since the first firmware.  It was fixed with one of the firmware updates, or so I thought.  Then again, I use lots of delay so it could have been disguised by that.

yeah if you have the time, it might be worth confirming.

and to replicate the behavior, get a 1 bar pattern going on Seq 2, then be sure to copy Seq 2 to Seq 1 first, save both.

i'm going to see if this is a larger issue than just 1 bar with seq 1 today...i'll report back.
