BSP en Korg ARP - Midi problem?
« on: January 03, 2016, 11:30:36 am »
I discovered a Midi problem when connecting the BSP to my K Arp.

The Arp plays the sequence perfectly, but when stopping the sequence, the first note of the sequence sounds again.
Then the Arp is behaving funny and I need to press stop 3 times to get the Arp working correct again. I could connect by CV or
by USB (routing through DAW) but that is not the way I want it. By CV disconnects the Arp Keyboard so to test a sound I need to
disconnect CV and by USB my DAW needs to be started al the time.

Behaving funny = The lowest key on the Arp stops responding and if you press any other key only OSC 2 responds with the correct note.
OSC1 one always plays the lowest key. Very strange indeed and as mentioned : pressing Stop on the BSP 3 times quickly (All notes off?) solves this.

Are they any settings I need to/can change in the control center to solve this?

Thx for any respons !

I'm sorry I can't help with the main question, but-

By CV disconnects the Arp Keyboard so to test a sound I need to disconnect CV

Can't you just touch the bsp pads in seq mode to test a sound?

Thanks, yes I can.

I changed my setup a little yesterday. Moved some stuff around so my Arp is next to my BSP. And then CV is a good solution.
I also tried routing everything by my DAW, which works fine, even using a keyboard via usb routing to have the BSP transpose.
All problems solved and for now I will do the job nicely. I only need to startup my DAW every time. (Made a template song so
everything is routed as wanted).
