Step sequencer mode?
« on: November 09, 2015, 08:08:38 am »
Apologies if I'm just being dumb, but is there a way to record a sequence in step mode, where each note played advances the sequence a step?
I'd love a way to tap in a sequence of notes that just plays, instead of the current "live" recording mode.

Nope but you can hold down a step button while hitting a note pad to set the note for that step.

That method DOES work, but it's more fiddly than just each note hit advancing the clock. I believe that's how the Micro Brute sequencer does it so Arturia have done it before. And back in the dim dark past when I was using a a Poly800 or a QX5 it was how step sequencing was done...
