Hi everyone! Tried to connect beatstep pro to beatstep via midi using standard mini jack. I thought it should be easy, but it just does not work.
Do you have any ideas why?

Hi wellwarp,
Use a TRS (stereo!!!) jack that goes from BeatStep Midi Out to BeatStep Pro MIDI IN. Put the BeatStep Pro SYNC into MIDI mode.

My mistake!
I have just check. BeatStep Midi Out is TS jack (Mono). So, putting a jack between them will not work.
If it does not work using a MIDI cable, this is because you do not use the right adapters.
BS adapter is
white
and have a TS jack
BSP adapter is
dark grey
and has a TRS jack
Regards,
Y.
