BeatStep Pro Control Mode
« on: September 03, 2015, 05:46:46 pm »
Hello. I've patched CV into both of the sequencers and would like to use the Control Mode as a basic controller for a MIDI instrument. Is there anyway to change octaves for the pads once you are in control mode? As of now it seems that I can only use 16 pads for notes and not change any octaves for higher/lower notes.

Please Advise,

Apparently you cannot:

There are several features that are disabled in Control Mode:
 Current Track (both buttons)
 Looper strip (it’s the Roller in Control Mode)
 LST STEP button
 Transposing sequences from the pads
 Octave +/- buttons
 Encoder scale selection (SHIFT + pads 1-8)
 Time divisions (SHIFT + pads 9-16)
