Love the beatstep and use it all the time with various hardware predominately. I see that the gate and shuffle can be adjusted via shift and encoders 1 and 2. So wonder if there is a hidden function to change sequence start note? And if not, can it be added to a future firmware upgrade .
Essentially I am talking about the beatstep being able to shift the start of a sequence around and the rest of the sequence follows. So for instance I write a baseline and I find that I want to start it not from the first pad, but say the 6th pad needs to be the start, and want to shift everything in the sequence accordingly. Would be a killer addition and be pretty fun to. Usually to get around it i record the midi notes into my sequencer and cut and paste to then effectively move start point to another pad...
What does everyone else think?
