Use CV and MIDI on drum track issues

So I have a eurorack system that I am triggering with the 8 bottom drum pads. I would also like to use my atmegadrum drum synth sounds on the first 8 drum pads.  As it stands I can get the drum sounds to play on all of the pads, but it also plays all my eurorack triggers on the bottom 8 pads at the same time. I have tried to change the midi note numbers in the MIDI editor but it doesn't change anything! Is this a known problem or am I being thick?

Strange in drum mode, I use mine with the 8 bottom pads triggering  eurorack drum modules and the other pad to triggering a drum machine with midi. I configure it in the midi control center changing the note of the pads and the channel and it work. Perhaps try it one more time. Are your pads configure with different notes or the same notes are on the both row?
