Micro Brute and ARP 2600

Hello,
I would like to play my ARP 2600 from the Microbrute keyboard (and to use as a MIDI-CV converter). I know that the ARP needs both "Gate" and "Trig" signals, so I'm running a Y cable from the gate out of the MicroBrute. It doesn't seem to be doing the trick. Is there something else I should be doing? Thanks!

I think you need a CV Converter/Polarizer/Attenuator Module or a Kenton Midi to CV Converter or something else because the arp 2600 needs a higher gate/ trigger voltage. You  should find the information in the original manual which you can find here:
