sync cable for eurorack

Hello,

a friend did built me a cable which splits from one stereo to two mono cables.
When I only concect one of the two the clock is received, when I connect both nothing happens anymore.
When I connect the end that sends the reset alone it works, connecting the other results in not working again..

I found some stereo to 2xmono on amazon, but not sure if these will work.

the BSP sets the START/STOP output to 1 as long as the sequencer plays, any chance it can give just a short pulse each time
the start button is pressed?
The way it is now does not work with the Doepfer A-160/A-161 and others.
The manual says:

the A-160 also has a reset input. Whenever a reset signal is sensed, all outputs are set to zero, until the reset voltage disappears.

I have it working here as following

just invert the "logic level" of the reset cable
(not the polarity!)

For example,
- Use a Doepfer A-166 logic modul
- Connect the BSP reset cable to the A-166 inverter input
- Inverter output connect to A-160 reset input

Thats all
- The clock of course you connect as you already did, too

One thing to mention
- when you press pause on the BSP, then currently you send  automatically a reset (so its like stop)
  That means, you have to start your sequence ALWAYS from the beginning (press stop only, pause is not supported).
  But for me its ok.

The BSP  does not support a seperate reset.
The BSP sends stop and start only, as DIN SYNC does.

Modern sync modules are programmable to keep "high" at pause, so only clock stops then.
If you want to have the complete pause control, its possible as well, but its more complicated then.
