Hi folks -
I finally decided to upgrade from my trusty CS80V 1.6 and install the 2.6 version. Fortunately it is a side-by-side install - all my existing projects should continue to use the 1.6 version until I change them over - I hope.
Here's the thing: I was demoing some of the patches and I noticed that some of them sounded distorted - crackling, clipping - in v.2.6. When I compared the audio with the older 1.6 version, the sounds were clean as I remembered.
It's not a change in output level - the audio volume seems to be roughly the same between the two. But the 2.6 is distorting.
Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a solution?
