I am a new user to my SparkLE and having a lot of fun with it. As usual there is a learning curve and I am still getting around this. My question is about importing drum MIDI patterns into the sequencer. For example, a pattern with a Kick on Note 60 and a Snare on Note 64. If I drop the MIDI pattern into Reaper it will line up the note numbers as expected. In Spark2, If I assign a Pad a MIDI note number that corresponds to my Pattern and then I drag the
Pattern onto a Pattern Slot, the Sequencer is not triggering the right notes, ie it is reassigning the note to its own Pad. Now I know there is a MIDI import Pref
that I tried, both Spark format and General MIDI but in both cases it seems to target the Instrument rather than the Note Number. Please let me know if I am missing something, or if there is a shortcut to getting the Notes to assign how I want. I am using Spark2 Mac (latest) but downloading the beta.
