KeyLab 88 Random high velocity - warranty?
« on: January 25, 2015, 07:36:06 pm »
Hi everybody,

As I was playing a lot with my new KeyLab 88 now, I unfortunately discovered, that once in a while one of the notes I play just has a 127 velocity. It seems to be completely random which note it is and when this occurs. Is there a way to fix this?
Is this maybe a matter of warranty and I can request for a repair or different model?

Thanks for reading!

This definitely seems to be a firmware issue and I have been pretty much ignored by Arturia about it....My retailer was kind enough to ship me a brand new KL88, but unfortunately it already had the newer firmware installed and within minutes of activation, I started getting the 127 velocity spikes. I am very upset as a result of this....it makes the board difficult to use. I need Arturia to at least acknowledge the fact that this problem exists and then start making steps to correct this. I am on the verge of of considering them a bad company as I have been dealing with this since November of last year when I got my first one.... >:( >:( >:( >:(

Well guys, there is a possibility Arturia has heard our complaints....There is a new firmware available on the Arturia website version 1.0.17. I don't have any details on what this firmware update addresses, but I am praying it's the problem we are all having. I will download and post here as soon as I can.

Hi,
I´m also experiencing this problem, even after installing 10.0.0.17. It seems to have been slightly better after the upgrade, but it is still annoying and is a huge drawback. Please investigate this further.
