There was a little misunderstood in this case because we do not use eLicenser for this product anymore; but the version included on the CD does. Anybody buying a Spark CDM / SparkLE nowadays have to make sure to update to Spark 2 (blue icon) in order for it to work with the newer protection system. It is better not to install the version on the CD and download Spark straight from our website, so that it does not need any activation code to work
