Microbrute connection software not updating or working

Why don't you guys say how to install this software? I'd assume installation instructions.

Anyways...It comes with some "mbf" file but I have no idea what that is....I just dragged the MB Connection Icon to application and ran it from there (on a mac). It says that it is version 1.0.0.0. from the gui. When I try and update it says "Checking Error - This file is not a MicroBrute crypted firmware file." What does that mean? It will not update....
It said at one point that it had no connection but the connection looks fine in "audio midi setup" on mac......and in Logic Pro is is recording midi notes so I think the USB is fine.

I have exactly the same issue
I also tried to put the App in the same folder as the
MicroBrute_Firmware_Release_V1.0.3.2.mbf
file, but no success.

Any progress on this???

Hey Emperor12,

I just reported this error to Arturia and got help in less than 1 hour.

I downloaded the Connection Software (again) from
http://downloads.arturia.com/products/microbrute/firmware/MicroBrute_1_0_3_2_mac.zip
and everything worked just fine when starting the App from the dowload location (where the MicroBrute_Firmware_Release_V1.0.3.2.mbf file ist located). No need to copy it to the OS X Application folder.

Anyway the OS X Finder shows that the App is version 1.0.0 but never mind.

Just give it a try...
