Beatstep to control my Microbrute and Minibrute via CV?

Hello world,

I have the Microbrute controlling my MInibrute because I use the Microbrute sequencer.. This is connected via CV gate and Pitch CV..  Basically  I program the sequences on my Microbrute and play the scales.   It works beautifully. 

I'm getting the Beatstep because I want analog type sequencing..  Do I connect the Beatstep CV gate to my Microbrute?    I am getting one today.

Hi you can use midi or cv or if plugged into a pc the usb for sequencing.

Which unit would control the tempo if it's connected via CV?

the beatstep will always be the master clock unless hooked up to a computer..then the computer is the master. there's no other way to have the beatstep as a slave.
