CV/Gate input -- safe to use higher than 5v?
«

Can anyone tell me if it is safe to provide more than 5v to the CV/Gate input?
I would like to make a simple pedal with 9v battery to move through steps of a sequence.
I could use several 1.5v batteries but a 9v would be more convenient.
thanks...
