ANALOG LAB Window Plug in simply closes and then crash
« on: July 03, 2015, 04:47:47 pm »
Hello!

I am using Analog Lab 1.2.2.47 (32 bit version)
with Live Ableton 9.1.4
on OSX 10.9.5

every now and then Analog Lab's window closes on me...the plug in does not shut down completely it just minimizes by itself for
no reason.
Also much much worse after 10 min or so, Live completely crashes.
Can you help?

It's a known issue in Pro Tools 12 as well.
Arturia is aware of it.

In fact, they warned me about it prior to my purchase of Pro Tools 12, and I beta tested a bit, so they're taking all the feedback & using it to find a solution.

Work around in the meantime?
If you have V collection, launch each synth individually on its own track rather than Analog Lab.

I prefer this method anyway as it allows me to treat each synth independently, ie; volume/pan/eq/comp, etc.
Bite off more than you can chew, then start chewing.
