Spark 2 not saving sequence data after save
« on: March 28, 2020, 05:26:15 pm »
So I set up a few patterns, for some of the patterns i add sequence parameters and put values in like for example FX2 wet/dry. FX2 delay time
When I save the project it doesn't play back the FX wet/dry or FX2 delay time anymore. When I re add the parameter I can see the data but it still does not play it. When I go to change a value it then works but only for that value.

why will it not save right? real waste of my time and money to be honest. The file system on this is so bad that it alone is enough to make the thing un-usable. Then this!
Why is it not playing back the sequencer data after save? It works before the save! Why does the parameter disappear but then when I re add it I can see the data from before it disappeared but it doesn't play back.  ???

Do you use "SAVE" or "SAVE AS"?
Is it a edit of a excisting official Arturia soundpack? If so, then use "SAVE AS".

Yeah I have tried both. Problem is the parameters that you add disappear, when you add them back again you can see the data but it is not playing it. Only works for Pitch. Pitch does play back after save but not say FX2 delay time for example.

I am using Spark 2.3.0 on MacOSX10.7. so probably is buggy, my Mac pro is old but good, it's stuck on 10.7.5 I have a newer MacPro i'll eventually migrate over to be the be studio machine. Hopefully it will be less buggy
