Analog Factory 2.5 not working with Garageband
« on: August 06, 2014, 12:03:20 pm »
Hey there

I have an iMac OS X 10.9.4. My Garageband version is 10.0.2. My Analog Factory is 2.5.

I was able to use AF2.5 on older versions of Garageband. Since i have updated to 10.0.2 Analog Factory is not showing up when selecting an Audio Unit Instrument. Have tried reinstalling both but nothing changed. Analog Factory works fine by itself. Its trying to access it in Garageband that's the trouble. Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers
Chris

Hi Chris,

Analog Factory is only 32bit compatible; make sure to run your DAW in 32bit as well.

Thank you. How do I change this? Can't seem to find the DAW settings

Ok I now realize Garageband 10 is in 64bit and Analog Factory is in 32bit. Looks like I can only use Analog Factory in 32bit recording software. Anyway to change either of them to match?
