Purchased used microbrute, still registered.

Hello, I purchased a used microbrute on ebay, it works perfectly and everything, but apparently the previous owner did not un-register it before selling it. Is there anything i can do about this, or am i up a creek?

So i contacted the ebay shop i bought it from, and they say that i infact recieved a new microbrute as a "free upgrade", despite the fact that i ordered a "Clean b-stock" and that as such it was never registered before. If this is so, how come i am unable to register it?
