No sound, broke after 1 day!

I have recently got a microbrute synth.  I updated the firmware and everything seemed fine then it has just stopped making sound.  I have tried reverting to the basic patch, checked all my connections, tried different cables.  I am not a noob to all this, it looks like the synth has a fault.  I don't know whether it is to do with the firmware or it is just the synth but I have only had the microbrute a day.  what can I do?

really glad that arturia are on the ball with regards to help! not even a reply on this.  Terrible service!
I also have been trying to resolve this through email and all i keep getting is to reupdate the firmware and talking to me about the sequencer.  I am not trying to use the sequencer and I know all about the problem with the sequencer after the firmware update.  I have also reupdated the firmware as suggested.
Neither are the problem. 
Am I the only one with this problem?

if your machine was fine before firmware update, you must be able to recover the firmware using the technote enclosed into the MicroBruteConnection zip file.
If it has never been doing sound, even using the basic path into the user manual, then you probably have to get it exchanged.
