Jupiter 8V 2.5.5 nothing seems fixed!

1: Over a year ago I reported problems with Jupiter 8V; mainly the increased release time that was acknowledged by Arturia's people and said to be getting looked at.

2: So now a year later I upgrade to latest version 2.5.5 and it's still not fixed. Further, there seems to be even more problems!

3: Now after around 10mins of use notes disappear or won't trigger at all. The arpeggiator seems particularly affected by this.

4: Also the SQUARE waveform on oscillator 1 is now affected by the Pulse Width or PWM setting. This shouldn't happen and didn't previously.

What is going on Arturia?  This is like a BETA version that we've 'paid' for. We're at version 2.5.5 and still all these problems!
Such a shame as this could be a wonderful synth if only it was reliable.

I own the V Collection 3 but won't be buying anything else from you until things get sorted. This is not good enough.

I've been searching and it seems that problems occurs since version 2.5.0
You should use version 2.0.2. and let me know if it solves your problems.
Those problems are now well referenced. Next update should fix those nasty ones.

Hi,
I have a setup very much like you: Win 7 and Cubase 6.5. Don't know what problems you are experiencing but I just installed V Collection 3. All synths work properly as standalone.

But when I try to use Jupiter as VST instrument in Cubase I only get one Jupiter sound I can play from my keyboard. The whole Jupiter inferface on my computer is completely locked up. Can't change sounds or any parameters at all. also, can't play any notes on the screen.

Has anyone experienced this?
How to fix?
How do I find what version I have?

Did you install the last version of eLicenser ?

Hi,

I'm facing a similar problem with 2.5.2 version. I keep listening to pops when I'm changing some parameters. It's very annoying.
I tried to install the 2.0.2 version as indicated but the installer doesn't allow me to do it because it finds a newer version installed.
I erased all files listed by arturia. What can I do to properly erase the 2.5.2 version?

open Terminal
Type this command, then press enter:

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE

To allow the files to be shown, you must restart Finder. You can do this by holding the Option key, click and hold the Finder icon. When the context menu shows, select Relaunch.

search "receipt" folder

Mac HD/private/var/db/receipts/

delete "com.arturia….jupiter..bom"

To hide files again, type:

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles FALSE

install the 2.0.2
