Analog Lab disappeared in Cubase
« on: February 03, 2014, 10:11:32 pm »
Hi,
In my cubase project all the tracks I made with Analog Lab disappeared.
Not really disappeared but analog lab is not launching anymore at the opening of my cubase project.
So I can still hear and see the Analog Lab tracks.
Also all the effects I recorded with the cursors in Analog Lab are gone. I can still see them visually but the soundseffects are gone...

What do I have to reactivate in Cubase to see my analog lab tracks back (in analog lab of course)? ???

PLEASE HELP!!! :'(

Can you see Analog Lab as a VST instrument in Cubase? Can you make new tracks with Analog Lab on them? What version of Cubase are you running on what system, what version of Analog Lab are you using and are you exoeriencing your issue after an update of AL? Can you really see *Analog* tracks or just MIDI tracks with no intsrument on them? What do you mean with your last sentence, "in analog lab of course"????

Can you see Analog Lab as a VST instrument in Cubase?  Yes
Can you make new tracks with Analog Lab on them?
no because analog lab isn't launching anymore for these (already opened) tracks
What version of Cubase are you running on what system, what version of Analog Lab are you using and are you exoeriencing your issue after an update of AL?
Cubase Element7, Windows 7, don't know the version of Analog Lab but probably the most recent cause I installed it for the 1st time 1 month ago... (so no update of AL)
Can you really see *Analog* tracks or just MIDI tracks with no intsrument on them?
Don't understand the difference. In cubase I add a new track with VST instrument, then I choose Analog Lab. With the track a new window of analog lab is opening (where I select the sound and effects I want).
What do you mean with your last sentence, "in analog lab of course"?
I mean that I would like to reactivate the windows that have opened automatically when inserting a new track "analog lab". Cause now they're gone and that's my problem.

Or maybe I'm not working properly in cubase...? I'm new with all this...  Thanks for your help and patience!

If you really know all the ways to close and re-open the instrument plugin windows in Cubase, then you should know that the closed/opened state is automatically saved when you save a project with closed instruments windows. You can re-open an instrument window from the track inspector or from a mixer track with the buttons around the volume control.

If you can re-open such AL windows on your tracks, then you should check if the connection to your Arturia hardware controller could be made or if this initial procedure crashes the plugin. That would stop any audio output too. Sometimes it helps if you unplug and re-connect your hardware controller (that is connected to the track), sometimes you'll have to just reload the AL plugin from the VST instrument list.
