Velocity to volume
« on: October 07, 2012, 10:59:33 pm »
How do you make a patch that has velocity controlled volume? I have tried assigning velocity to VCA AM in mod matrix, but this only affects a little bit of the note volume, not 100 % even if I have the amount 1.000.

It doesn't work in the voice programmer either.

I'm guessing VCA AM is the correct target, can't find a word on the manual either.

I haven't installed my SEM yet (just updated to V collection 3.0) so I can't check this, but if there is a way to apply velocity to the amplitude of the envelope generator that is driving the VCA, then do that.  Otherwise, you are adding the velocity and the envelope so there is always the contribution of the envelope keeping the VCA open.  Cheers, Zip O'
