Arturia vs Garageband
« on: January 16, 2011, 01:11:30 am »
Hello,

I want to launch the Arturia Player Software in Macs Garageband.
I can pick the keyboard as a new instrument and use the Garageband sounds but I can't figure out how too use the Arturia Player software sounds in there....
How does this work?

Thanks for any help!!!!
Florrez

I have an Intel Macbook Pro

Hiya Florrez. I'm pretty sure that Garage band doesn't support any instruments except for its own (hence their expensive instrument packs, etc), not even .au instruments.

The next level up, Logic Express, does allow you to use .au instruments, but not VSTs.

I hope that helps.

Garage Band DOES support Analog Facotry, since it comes installed with an AU plugin. Please see
