Problem is the same in both Live 7 and Live 8, on Win XP and Win 7 x64 machines...
I have set the patterns up to be triggered by midi notes. And I set my midi loops in live to contain a single note to trigger each pattern.
This works, except...........
If Spark is set to change pattern immediately, it always misses the downbeat, the very first note of the pattern does not play. (The last beat of the previous pattern plays in its place).
If spark is set to switch patterns at the end of the current loop, it doesn't switch immediately when receiving a midi message on the downbeat, but waits a whole measure before triggering the next pattern.
Is there any fix or workaround for this?
I'm not sure how I can use the Spark with Ableton Live if I don't get this working... exporting midi or audio files from spark into live is not an option, it defeats the whole purpose of having a wonderful tweakable controller...
Please help.
