Is there a way to..... (future suggestion included)
« on: February 08, 2012, 06:38:25 pm »
1. copy and paste a pattern (i.e. from A1 to A2) without using the mouse?
-if not, this would be a grand addition to the hardware shortcuts for the next                    update.

i just got the spark today and have been playing with it ALL DAY, loving it. but there is one thing i would like to suggest to the arturia crew for the next update- (besides the suggestion above, which im sure is already in plans)

-EDIT A PATTERN FROM THE PATTERN CIRCLE WITHOUT PLAYING IT, WHILE A DIFFERENT PATTERN FROM THE PATTERN CIRCLE IS PLAYING.  :o  :o  :o

(for example, have A1 play, while i prepare the next pattern in A2 without starting it, or stopping A1) THIS WOULD MAKE SPARK THE STAR OF A LIVE SETUP, I WOULD BUY 3 MORE SPARKS!!!!

please consider this and let me know what you think.

best wishes :)

Hi antoni,
this is a good idea, I'll add this to the feature request list.

Best

thanks kevin :)

since we got this ball rolling, i just remembered one more idea that came to mind as i was playing, but this one im sure is also in plans-

-the option to switch the track parameters on the fly is an amazing and handy option, and i would love to see this same concept (select+knob) applied to the main center panel effects,
-cutoff-  be able to change what kind of filter (hpf/bpf/lpf)
-aux 1 and aux 2- ability to change the effects choices from the mixer- (change reverb to flanger) and so on

what do you think?

peace

Actually we were thinking about something else (access to master and aux FX params) but this is indeed a very good idea.

Hey Antoni,

Just wanted to let you know that this feature is already available.
Press select + eraze
Press A1
Press A2

(that's actually very useful!)

Cheers,

Denis
