MIDI Sequencer Origin with Mg LP Tribute Stage 1

Is it possible to operate the sequencer and arpeggiator of Origin in MIDI OUT with a Mg Little Phatty (Tribute Edition Stage 1 v1.03Tc).

If so, how?

Hi Stéphane!

People have asked this before. I'm not sure about the arpeggiator, but about the sequencer, Philippe's answer has been that this is not currently possible, and it would be difficult to map the Origin's sequencer signals to MIDI, since they have been designed to work just like analog modular sequencers. I might make sense to use an external one like Beatstep Pro, and feed the MIDI into Origin and the analog CV into the Mg.

I will try doing MIDI out with the arpeggiator.

I tried, and impossible to operate the sequencer. I have not found either for the arpeggiator. Too bad no CV output OUT.
It really is a lack on this machine. If a miracle happens and that version 1.5 is created, it can be interréssant to have this type of modification.

Did you try beat step or something similar that has both MIDI and CV out?

Yes, when I use my Korg M3 or my Motif XF with Mg, no problem !
