Easy way to audition samples?
« on: October 04, 2012, 08:24:21 pm »
Hi,

I am trying to find an efficent way to audition snares, toms, fx etc.
As of today i audition them from the "Studio" section (from the menus there), i just think it gives a better overview of the drum-setup. Although itīs very time-consuming and annoying to go in to the menu everytime and choosing.. there should be like a "+" and "-" button next  to each sample so you could browse through them easily :)

Also i canīt quite figure out how to use the Jog-wheel on this. If i want a snare for instance, how do i scroll through the different snares with the jog-wheel?

When you turn the wheel, you are browsing on the current instrument type.
So if your instrument is a Bass Drum you are browsing all the Bass Drums.
If you hold Select and Press the wheel you can choose the Sound Engine (Sample, Analog, Physical).
If you press the wheel again (while holding Select) you can choose the instrument type (BD, SD, CH, OH...).
Release Select then choose you type (SD for instance), then your sound engine (Sample for instance).
You are now browsing what you want (all the sample Snares).
