Black Keys louder than White Keys
« on: January 24, 2012, 11:55:07 am »
Hello Forum and Arturia team!

Purchased the Analog Player 25 last week. What a beautiful and nifty little machine.

This bothers me, though:
When hitting black or white keys with the same intensity, black keys respond significantly louder than the white ones. Especially noticable with piano sounds (Kontakt Piano Library)
as well as with velocity sensitive sounds from Analog Experience (Roads, Bar Piano...)

No matter if I use plugin instruments as 'stand alone' or in my DAW environment (Nuendo)
My Analog Player is connected to a Win Vista 32 notebook via USB.

What can I do about it? Any help is appreciated.

Thank you all kindly for your response!

Could be interesting to check what Velocity MIDI messages are sent by the unit, for instance using a third-party monitoring tool such as:
[WIN] MIDI-OX
[MAC] MIDI Monitor

Wow, Antoine, you even replied here in the forum as well.  :)

'The Player' replacement is already on the way, was no big deal.
Thanks again for your fantastic trouble shooting via tech support.

You rule.
