64 bits versions of Arturia Plugins
« on: July 01, 2010, 11:15:56 am »
Could we hope a day, 64bits versions of Arturia plugins would be released?
Even small companies started to provide it now.

Hi Poropat,

I confirm our development team is currently working on 64bits updates. Nevertheless, at that point, we cannot announce any release date.

Best regards,

Denis

This is great news.  I recently moved from Cubase on XP to Cubase x32 on Win 7 x64. I use jbridge to bridge my SD2, Kontakt, Ivory, and Trillian to take advantage of memory above 4gb - so far so good.  I found this to be the more stable route rather than going Cubase x64 and bridging my x32 VSTs.

I really want to go all x64 but love my MiniMg V, CS-80V, Mg Modular V, Jupiter V, Prophet V, and ARP 2600 V as well as a few of my other key x32 VSTs.

Please Arturia!
You did told us for over a year ago that 64bit versions is in the works.
Are they still in the works, or can we just forget it?
I'll be OK if you say that there will not be any 64 bit version og the Classic plugins. But i need to know :)

Just had a whiplash session in the developers dungeon... A scary place, for sure. ::)

Yes I can promise you they work hard on it, I even heard a MiniMg-V singing in both AU and VST 64-bit modes. Still have no firm date to offer, but the keyboards are on fire.

Just downloaded all the latest updates, and I am happy to report that, at least for me, the only plugin that didn't work with 64-bit Cubase 6 on Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate was Jupiter 8V. The 64-bit Mg (modular, mini) worked wonderfully, and the 32 bit versions of the others (Arp, CS8, Prophet) worked with 64-bit Cubase and did not crash.  I was worried after reading all the forum posts, but 5 out of 6 is good enough for now.
Shreddage for guitars, Trillian for Bass and Superior 2.0 for Drums can exceed 4 gigs of RAM just by temselves, so going back to 32-bit Cubase is no longer an option.

Looking forward ot the rest of the plugins (especially Jupiter since it's the weakest link right now) getting the full 64-bit treatment.
