Drag n Drop Audio problems...

Drag n Drop Audio in Ableton Live 8 usually results in digital noise.

See screenshot. Should be a clap - but instead - extreme digital feedback.

Dangerous for ears and monitors.

Two questions:
- Are you using VST or AU in Ableton?
- Are you using several audio out (i.e did you change the outputs in the mixer view)

I am using the AU version in Live.

I have not changed the outputs in the mixer view.
