Standalone AF not receiving keyboard input on MacBook Pro Lion

I learned how to connect the AF (2.5.1) to Garage Band

where the midi input from the keyboard controller is recognized without problems and I can enjoy the great sounds and the controller. However if I start the standalone program, no midi input is recognized by it. The sound works fine if i click on the keys though.

Just wondering if anyone had this rpoblem, or how I can fix it.

Already asked tech support about it (Case 114224), but first they closed the ticket without answering. Since I complained about that the ticket hangs in open limbo for a week already...

You should check in the "Setup/Audio & MIDI settings" window of AF standalone if your keyboard controller is marked as an active MIDI device.
