why do my single program presets not work but multis do?

my single program presets are not working on my origin. when i choose a preset no sound comes out. the midi input light does not flash too in the bottom left of the screen. also when i try a miniMg template no sound or input either.
the multi presets work fine...and sound fantastic!! not sure whether i need to do somethin in the edit page or something.
i would assume that all the presets would work straight out of the box.

Hi,

if the Multis work but the Presets don't, please check the MIDI channel of your keyboard. You are probably sending on the wrong channel.

Or, change the default MIDI Channel for Program mode in the Home/Settings/MIDI page.
