Can't Midi Learn Joystick Y

So, I would like to use the 2d pads but the problem is that when I click Midi Learn and then I click either joystick, it only gives me the option to alter the X of the joystick and not the Y. What gives? How do I fix this?

On Windows you have the x/y directions related to the left and right click on the mouse.
If you are on MAC i guess you have a similar option. Perhaps using the Apple.
