Bought 3 products : now problaby license server is down :(((((((

Not becoming very happy with this :
Today i bought 3 products from arturia website (downloadable products).

Now i want to download the licensefiles but keep getting error message about server problaby down or check your internet settings.

There is nothing wrong with my internet connection , i know for sure.

Quite a bummer ...

Anyone same experiences ?

The eLicenser server has been lagging all day long, causing "Use Master server..." -type error messages.
Please try again in a couple of minutes, probably using the "Recover" function if any "code already used" -type error message.

Just tried again to download the license files.
Same happens again (after about 5 minutes) : message about server problaby down ..bla bla bla.

Paid 650 euro for 3 plugins i simply can't use now ..

This is bad .. imho ..

I'm having the same thing occur.  The progress bar goes about an inch, freezes up for about five minutes, with the same server error message appearing.

But i'm glad i'm not the only one with this problem ..

Wouldn't know b.t.w. how to change from slave server to master server.
There is no function in the license control center app where that can be changed.

Got the dreaded "use master server bla bla " message, again.

This error message occurs when: (one or several of these reasons)
_ there is some firewall (hardware of software) setting that blocks the communication
_ you are connected through a weak WiFi connection
_ the eLicenser servers are overloaded
Please check on the 2 first possibilities; for the third one... just try a bit later.

- I don't have a firewall active
- I am on ethernet adsl, not on wifi.

so i assume only the last option is valid : overloaded servers.


Cant you send me the licenses per email ?

Have spent now a week trying to "start" license period usage. Major issues with eLicenser here. Absolutely sporadic connections. Overloaded? Its ridiculous that this partnership must be at issue.

My connection is solid. This process should complete on a dial-up rate, and it is a wild presumption by someone that it should not be necessarily weak. If sever issues are a problem, which I believe they are, they are kicking your customers, real or potential, squarely in the groin.

I can't imagine anyone over 50 dealing with this. The eLicense software included with your demonstration software isn't even supported anymore, and it is not mentioned, nor is there a link to the supported version. This is the kind of crap that generates so much frustration one would seek out an illegal solution just to try your reportedly excellent emulations. I won't, and since I can't take your product out of the virtual box, as it were, I will move on.

Did I not put enough work into a solution? Am I whining? Yes! That's because there should not have to be any troubleshooting, and I don't have half a day to waste on public relations and research into a 3rd party. What is easy and attractive to all people is an actual working synthesizer.
