Has Arturia Fixed Most of the 2.0 Bugs in 2.5 ?
« on: July 17, 2010, 08:35:44 am »
I posted a huge MMV 2.0 bug list a few years ago. It can be seen at this link:

http://www.electro-music.com/forum/topic-13881.html

Most of the modules contained bugs, many contained several bugs. The synth was a huge pile of bugs. Arturia came out with later versions, but from what I hear, didn't do anything to fix the bugs. Has version 2.5 fixed any of those bugs on my list? All they say is they're fixed some bugs but don't give a list of what they've fixed. As far as I can tell, the only reason to upgrade to 2.5 is for the bug fixes, as there are no new modules and no new functionality in the stand alone PC version worth an upgrade, and I (as well as most people) don't want to buy those pain-in-the-ass copy protection dongles for no gain.

Thanks for any info.

I find both the 2.2 and 2.5 version good. I'm using this software since many years and had only problems with the earliest versions.
